You could be here because you thought that teaching would be your lifelong career, but you now realize that you need a clean break and a fresh start on a new career path, but you don’t know where to find an employer who would value your professional background Beyond Teaching. You could be here because you’ve decided to retire and are unsure what your life Beyond Teaching will feel or look like. No matter what your next path you choose, “Beyond Teaching” is here to help!
Beyond Teaching’s goal is to provide you with resources to help you make take these next steps.
Beyond Teaching is very much a work-in-progress, so please bear with us while we grow and develop to best support you. We are working on a number of resources to support your journey, these include: the free www.beyondteaching.ca Website that will share helpful resources to help you as your prepare to take your next steps, the free Beyond Teaching Newsletter that will share helpful and timely information like new employment and volunteer opportunities, and the outstanding Teacher Transition Course that will provide you with invaluable specific skills and strategies to help you take to your next steps. We will keep you updated about the course in our Beyond Teaching Newsletter. We also have a Beyond Teaching Facebook Group for Canadian Teachers where you can share your stories, find support and know that you are NOT ALONE in wanting to make a change towards a new path.
