The Beyond Teaching Story…

Beyond Teaching was created when it became clear that many educators were looking for a change from their teaching positions and felt they had a great deal to offer but didn’t know how to move forward.

Beyond Teaching will bring together teachers, employers, and organizations who value teachers and the many things they offer; passion, creativity, dedication, hard work, and a willingness to go above and beyond to make a better world.

Beyond Teaching is being developed to help teachers who are looking for a change and want to find new paths forward. We know that teachers have so much to offer. We are working hard to find potential employers and organizations who value everything teachers bring.

Beyond Teaching wants to make sure that you have the opportunity to grow and develop in ways that are best for you and your family. We know that there are many employers looking for the best people to join their teams, and we also know that many employers love hiring teachers.

Beyond Teaching is about teachers helping teachers make those connections.

Beyond Teaching is a Web-based business created and run by Canadian teachers to help fellow Canadian teachers transition to new employment and volunteer opportunities.

www.beyondteaching.ca is a free service for teachers. We generate income to support our service when guests pay for our Teacher Career Transition Course (to be announced in our Beyond Teaching Newsletter very soon!) and if guests “Buy us a Cup of Coffee” to thank us for our efforts on their behalf.
